 It is mentioned in therapeutic uses
 for the treatment of 'pimples' but no symptoms delineated

 What is the medicinal use of Azadirachta indica?

 Traditional medicinal use Neem oil is also used for healthy hair, to improve liver function,
 detoxify the blood, and balance blood sugar levels. Neem leaves have also been used to treat
 skin diseases like eczema, psoriasis, etc.

Health Benefits & Cosmetic use

 Asian populations use Neem leaf powder, Neem leaf oil, Neem pulp and seed oil,
 Neem tree bark and small Neem twigs for a wide array of medicinal and cosmetic purposes.
 The leaf powder and oil, mixed in either an aloe or vegetable base, is used topically in lotion,
 cream, and salve formats to treat skin ailments, to maintain smooth complexions and to moisturize
 the hands and body. The lotions and creams containing Neem seed oil can be used all over the body
 for dry or itchy skin and dermatitis.

 Leaf oil shampoo is used for shiny hair and in the making of body wash and bars of soap to reduce skin- irritations from harsh weather. Liquid Neem seed oil is also used in shampoo form for scalp conditions - such as psoriasis and lice.  Neem seed oil is used in nail polish to support smooth, shiny nails.

Medicinal use

Neem leaf powder in vegetable capsules is taken as an herbal supplement to support the immune system -and as part of a regime to support healthy blood sugar levels. Neem powder tea is used for antibiotic-and antiviral treatments.

Dental use

Slender Neem tree twigs are used in Asia as toothbrushes. It is believed that the healing powers from
the tree support good dental hygiene and aid in preventing gingivitis and periodontal diseases. Neem leaf- extract is also used in the manufacturing of toothpastes.

 All parts of neem are used for preparing many different medicines, especially for skin disease.
 A compound from the Neem tree can be used as a spermicide .

 Azadirachta indica is known by many names such as Neem, Margosa tree, Nimba, Vembaka, Bal-nimb,- Vembu, Vepa, and Azadirachta. It is a miraculous tree native to India. Every part of this great tree
 is useful. The leaves, bark, seeds, oil and roots all are used for some therapeutic purpose.
 It is used as a folk medicine since time immemorial

 Neem is used in Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani sstem of medicine due to its immense health - benefiting qualities. It is boon for skin when used both internally and externally. It detoxifies blood- and cures acne, pimples, boils, and similar condition. When the tender twig of Neem is chewed as Datun daily,- the teeth are protected and gums are strengthened.
 Neem is bitter in taste. But this bitterness is responsible for its therapeutic efficacy of this tree.
 Nimboin, nimbinene, 6-desacetylnimbinene, nimbandiol, nimbolide and quercetin are present in the leaves.- Leaves are also reported to contain β-sitosterol, n-hexacosanol and nonacosane.

 Neem is a tonic and a revitalizer, it works effectively in the treatment of diabetes.
 It has been found to reduce insulin requirements by up to 50% for diabetes, without altering blood   glucose- level. It significantly reduces insulin requirements for insulin dependent diabetes and have also been- scientifically proved to be effective in treating and preventing diabetes. The possible mechanism of - anti-hyperglycemic effect of Neem leaf was found to be reduction in peripheral utilization of glucose - and suppression of glycogenolytic effect due to epinephrine action.

The bark is also known as Margosa Bark. It contains Azadirin, Margosin and Catechin.  Bark is indicated in condition like ozena, pemphigus, scabies, leprosy, helminthiasis, gonorrhea, glossitis, opthalmia, asthma, cough, catarrh, constipation, uterine weakness. It is very good remedy for malaria.
